Varsity Scoreboards is seeking a full-time inside sales representative for scoreboards and video boards in Murray, KY. Varsity is a family friendly company that offers strong employee loyalty and a great working atmosphere.

Employee Profile:

The inside sales representative is part of a team based sales group. Each member of the group is responsible for working with customers nationwide via internet and phone to create scoring solutions, compile price quotes, and ensure a smooth sales process. The inside sales team member will also be responsible for meeting customer’s needs and expectations as it’s of the highest priority as the sales representative strives to meet monthly sales goals.

Varsity Scoreboards is the official sponsor of hometown sports. We are a scoreboard sales and service company located in Murray, KY. We make scoreboards accessible to all communities by providing fast, affordable scoreboards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Establish new accounts

2. Utilize software (HubSpot CRM) to service new and existing accounts. Creating and sending quotes, emailing, etc. from HubSpot CRM software.

3. Follow up with customer leads generated from website

4. Plan daily work schedule centered around contacting existing and potential customers via telephone, Outlook, and HubSpot

5. Thorough understanding of product lineup

6. Close sales on existing accounts to reach monthly sales goal

7. Process orders by referring to price lists and product literature

8. Contribute to team by providing results and meeting monthly/annual goals set by management

9. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new products

10. Follow up with customers once the sales cycle is complete

Additional responsibilities:

1. Maintains professional and technical knowledge

2. Recommends changes in products and service by evaluating competitive products and quotes

3. Recommends changes in products and services by evaluating changes in the market and customer expectations

4. Occasional overnight travel to attend industry tradeshows

5. Performs other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

· Friendly demeanor.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Outstanding phone etiquette

· Ability to close a sale

· Self-confident, organized and detail oriented

· Proficient computer skills and Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Business is a plus

· Knowledge of CRM software

· Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work as a team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:

- $38,000 plus monthly commission
